Crofter Breakfast Tea was inspired by a little grey fergie tractor. The little grey fergie has lived on the Tiree Tea croft since she was born in 1947. She is still a working tractor.
Like the fergie, Crofter Breakfast Tea is a versatile blend equally suited to breakfast, a flask on the go or, (in true Tiree style) accompanied by a couple of biscuits after an already large meal. Leaving it in a teapot on the stove to stew for a couple of hours is traditional, but entirely optional.
Hints of: baler-twine and marauding livestock
Net weight: 60g (20 teabags) | 30g (10 teabags)
Ingredients: Indian Assam Black Tea, Kenyan Black Tea, Sri Lankan Black Tea.
Brew for 3 mins in 100 degree water

Buying Crofter for my spouse was a huge risk. She has had a longstanding love affair with Taylors of Harrowgate’s Scottish Breakfast. But I love crofting land tenure, the cover art, the Hebrides, and the description so I thought I’d give it a shot.
The love affair with Taylors is over. Crofter blew it out of the water, so to speak. This is our second order because she went through what I bought her for Christmas in just a few months.
Now I’m just trying to figure out how often we need to set our subscription for . . .
